The deposit element of a booking is non-refundable. Bookings paid in full are refundable (minus deposit) when 1 weeks notice is given. Where possible we can also transfer your booking to another date in the same year.

We allow all types of units (tents, trailer tents, caravans, motorhome, campervans, roof tents etc). We also allow sign-written vans and trailers on site.

Yes, we welcome friendly dogs on the campsite.

Yes, you can park next to your pitch. Please minimise driving on site, especially when it is dark for the safety of our other customers.

On arrival, please pitch up and a member of staff will see you shortly.

Yes, we will always accommodate changes to bookings where we can. The easiest way to make a change is by creating a customer login account. Alternatively, please use the Contact Us form or reply to your confirmation email

Yes, all campfires/BBQs must be raised off the ground. We hire firepits out at £15 which comes with a bag of logs, kindling and firelighters. Additional logs can then be purchased from us at £9 a bag.

Yes, there are 2 electric stations, each housing 2 plugs. However, these are not book-able, instead we operate a first-come-first-serve basis. Please note, they are on a meter which accepts £1 and £2 coins. 24 hours cost £4.

We have multiple toilet blocks across the site, shower facilities and washing up area. There is also drinking water points situated across the campsite.

Yes, there are two 3-pin plugs on the outside of the toilet block nearest to the black gates at the entrance.

We don't have marked out pitches or allocate space to individual bookings. Instead, you have the freedom to pick a spot when you arrive on the campsite to pitch together.

As we have a lot of space across the site, we find that groups don't tend to have any issues finding a space to camp together. However, if you are a particularly large group (50 people or more), please email us on bookings@alfristoncamping.com to discuss getting an area reserved.
